BADER BRAVES Winter Wonderland Weekend – It’s next weekend! Last chance for a place…

A final reminder that the BADER BRAVES Winter Wonderland Weekend at Calvert Trust, Kielder, Northumberland is being held next weekend from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th January.

We’ve had an excellent response to this exciting event and can just squeeze in a couple more families. It promises to be a great weekend and, with so many already taking part, is an ideal opportunity to meet up with other Braves and their families and make new friends while experiencing lots of fun and adventure in the gorgeous scenery at the Calvert Trust.

We urge you not to miss out on this fantastic opportunity – these kind of offers don’t come along too often – and we need to have all the names in by tomorrow evening (Tuesday 24th January) so do act now.

Introduction

The Douglas Bader Foundation is a charity organisation, formed in honour of Sir Douglas Bader in 1982 by family and friends, many of whom had flown side by side with Douglas during World War 2. Douglas was honoured in 1976 with a Knighthood for his contribution and work on behalf of the disabled. The mission of the foundation is to continue Douglas' work in conjunction with and on behalf of individuals with a disability. read more >

The Bader Cup Golf Tournament

THE BADER CUP was started in 1987, and is now widely recognised as the largest National Mixed Greensome Stableford Golf Tournament in Europe.

John Southwick founded the Tournament to raise funds for The Douglas Bader Foundation. He still organises the competition.
