BADER BRAVES – 1st Flying Day 2012 at Kinloss

Saturday May 5th saw the successful and very enjoyable completion of the Douglas Bader Foundation BADER BRAVES Young Aviators Day of the 2012 Programme. This was held at R.A.F. Kinloss and, as you will see from Keith Delderfield’s report below, a very good time was had by all.

As you know, we are always delighted to receive personal reports and photographs from our participating BRAVES and their families and carers so do, please, send them in so that we can publish them on the Website and encourage others to come along to one of our wonderful Flying Days and join the BADER BRAVES tribe!

Unfortunately what would have been our next Young Aviators Day on Saturday, June 2nd at R.A.F. Waddington has had to be cancelled. We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment caused by the late notification of this cancellation, which was beyond out control. We are desperately hoping to be able to pull a cat out of the proverbial bag with a Plan B and will, of course, keep BRAVES and their families and carers posted.

We should have confirmation by the end of this week so please keep checking in for updates and, in the meantime, keep you fingers crossed…
