David McNamara – 3 Peak Challenge update…
If you’ve been reading the News Posts, you will know that David McNamara completed the gruelling 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for the Douglas Bader Foundation, specifically the BADER BRAVES initiative. David’s son, Morgan, is a BRAVE with several BB Events under his belt.
Angela, David’s wife, has been playing her part in Team McNamara by working tirelessly to raise the money to meet their target. Sadly, as Morgan is unwell at the moment, she has had to extend the JustGiving deadline from the 23rd and the Page will now remain open until the 31st May. The good news is that this gives you more time to donate! The DBF relies almost entirely on fund-raising to carry out its important work on behalf of amputees and other disabled so any donation, however small, is valuable to us and greatly appreciated.
