London 10k Run 2012

It’s that time of year again! Time to dig out your running gear and join Team Bader on Sunday 8th July for the London 10k Run 2012.

The 10k Run is one of our major annual events and, each year our valued supporters don cutting edge of fashion DBF T Shirts and join Team Bader to raise funds for this worthy cause. As well as completing the run, you will have the pleasure of joining the Team for much-needed and well-earned refreshments after – and possibly before – the Run!

If you’d like to support the Douglas Bader Foundation by taking part in the 10k Run this year, please contact Keith Delderfield:

45 Dundale Rd., Tring, Hertfordshire, HP23 5BU

You can also complete the automatic emailable form at the bottom of this page being sure to enter London 10k Run 2012 in the subject box and to copy the Captcha Code into the Verify Box where advised.

You will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of £30.00 when you register your place. The DBF relies almost entirely on fund-raising to continue its valuable work on behalf of amputees and other disabled so you can be sure that the deposit and any money you can raise on top of that will be going to a very worthy cause.

The Team Bader 10k Run philosophy is definitely along the “It matters not if you win or lose….” lines, and runners, walkers and wheelchair-users are all welcomed and their input, however energetic, greatly appreciated.

Please click HERE for a downloadable, printable Flyer and be sure to distribute it far and wide where it will attract as many DBF Runners as possible….

There’s already our popular Forum for information, support & chat. But sometimes you may feel in need of something extra.

You’re special to us you know! So we thought you’d like a more personal service for more specific advice or maybe to make a 1-2-1 contact with another amputee.
