The BADER CUP – A change in the line up for the Final…

We have just heard from John Southwick, the organiser, that there will be a change in the line-up of Regional Finalists going to Portugal on the 4th November to play for the prestigious BADER CUP, now recognised as Europe’s largest national mixed golf tournament.

Sadly, the two winners from the Pitreavie Golf Club (Scotland) Regional Final, Nina Morrison and Graham Howarth representing Pumpherston Golf Club, have had to withdraw from the final. Therefore the runners-up, Linda Lindsay (handicap 14) & Derek Lindsay (handicap 13) representing Marriott Dalmahoy Golf Club will now go forward to contest the Cup in Portugal.

Linda & Derek scored 40 points at the regional final wining on a count back from Sally Park & Craig Geekie of Deer Park Golf Club, who were placed third.

Please click HERE to see the News Post of the Pitreavie Regional Final where you will find a link to the Results Page with downloadable results in full.

Our commiserations to Nina Morrison and Graham Howarth, we hope that they’ll be able to defend their Regional Final win next year but congratulations and best of luck to Linda and Derek Lindsay. Will they be able to convert this unexpected opportunity into a victory in Portugal…? Results will be published after the event – keep checking in to find out!
