Calling all BADER BRAVES!
These pages are for you and your families. Please use them to contact us or each other.
For example, you can:
- Communicate with each other through the new Forum (posts are monitored for your safety)
- Send in photographs and view other Braves pictures in the Gallery
- Organise your own fund-raising events to support other current or would-be Braves
- Let us know of Events of Challenges you’d like to see included in the programme
- Tell your friends about BADER BRAVES
- Just keep in touch and let us know how you’re getting on
BADER BRAVES YOUNG AVIATORS DAYS
We very much hope to see both familiar and new faces at the Young Aviators Days this year. We almost doubled the Young Aviators Days on offer in 2011 and an amazing 12 scheduled for 2012. We are always looking to enlist the support of more airfields so that we can add new locations across the UK each year. Hopefully, there will be one at least relatively near to you.

BADER BRAVES EVENTS
We are building on the different Events we can offer our BRAVES. The Winter Wonderland Weekend at Calvert Trust, Kielder, Northumberland was a great success and we intend to offer more of these hugely enjoyable weekends. The BADER BRAVES was founded with Douglas Bader’s indomitable spirit and the courage of the Kanai Indians in mind and the Young Aviators Days and the Events we offer are intended to be inspirational and encouraging in nature. 2012 has already seen several BRAVES enjoy the Peter Saywell Track Day at Goodwood Race Circuit and there is also a Free Guided Tour of Tangmere Aviation Museum on offer on August 11th where BRAVES can learn more about Douglas Bader.
We will keep adding to the BADER BRAVES Events and Challenges so please keep checking in. We also welcome ideas so please contact us if you know of an event taking place that other BRAVES would enjoy, or a location that would make a good BADER BRAVES venue for future meetings.
We also love to have your input so do please get back to us with feedback and photographs etc. after an event so that we can share these with other BRAVES and, hopefully, encourage more youngsters to join the BADER BRAVES tribe!
